VCU Men’s Basketball will be hosting a special exhibition game at the Siegel Center. The Rams will take on Liberty on Thursday, October 26th at 7 PM in an exhibition that will benefit hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
According to VCU Athletics, both VCU and Liberty will activate a NCAA waiver for this event to take place at the Siegel Center. Each school has chosen a hurricane relief charity to donate their net proceeds towards; VCU selected One America Appeal, which supported recovery efforts for hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.
Tickets for this exhibition game are all general admission and will be $15. Ticket sales will begin on Friday, October 20th at 9 AM through the VCU Ticket Office and VCUAthletics.com.
Doors to the Stu will be open for entry at 6 PM. Liberty finished 21-14 overall last season and made it to the quarterfinals of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament (CIT). VCU defeated Liberty 64-59 in Lynchburg, VA last year.
